Palm Beach
Palm Beach is a wide sandy beach on Monterey Bay near the mouth of the Pajaro River that is backed by beautiful grassy dunes. Palm State Beach was originally Camp Goodall, a private beach with a number of small cottages. It was named “Palm” after a famous resort in Florida. Perhaps the best part about this scenic stretch of sand is just how uncrowded it often is, probably due to the fact that it's something of a well-kept secret. Surrounded by agricultural land, it's often overlooked for other beaches. Personally one of my favorite things about this beach is the way the wet sand reflects the sunsets.
